Livi's First Day of Preschool!

So, last Friday was Olivia's first day of preschool! She is enrolled in a Parent Tot Spanish class for ages 18 months-3 years. Olivia just turned 18 months and that is why her first day of school is in January! She had a pretty fun time altogether and she did better than expected during the listening times. The cool thing about it is that Halie gets to come too. I can't believe my baby is in preschool....wahhh!!

She got to play with playdoh during choice time, sing a few songs (in spanish of course) play with nieve (snow, cotton balls), eat snack, and have recess!

She also learned about winter clothing!

Update

So, I'm off to a bad start already.... I haven't posted any Christmas or New Years photos! Oh well, I guess I'll have to do it next year! Anyways, Halie went to her second Fun Meet for gymnastics this past weekend! She did pretty well. At first she had a tantrum about starting 2nd on the beam (She wanted to be first!) I took her over to do floor first. After that she was fine. I think that the beam was too close to the audience and it just kinda freaked her out!

This is the best handstand I've seen her do on the beam. I've been told that she has very good form for her age.

Halie looks kinda silly in this one, but its the best one I got of the group. There are about 3 girls missing in the photo. The group is called the Hot Shots. They wear matching leos and perform at different places throughout the year. Stinkin adorable huh?

First Blog!

We'll it seems like everyone out there is bloggin' these days and I think I caught the blogging fever! I have never done a blog before, so forgive me if I make a few mistakes!

I am on my way to Home Depot to buy some paint for my livingroom! When I am done I will post some before and after pictures! I am totally excited to paint. I have been waiting for this moment for a long time. You see, we just bought our first house on October 31, 2007 and we have had very little time to make it our own. My aunt and her family are coming to stay with us over the Christmas holiday and I want to have everything looking good!
